The Piedmont District is happy to announce that Amanda Braham is the new Program Support Technician. Amanda is working part-time and is especially looking forward to her involvement with the youth outreach program. She is a 2012 graduate from Southside Community College is Business Administration. The Piedmont Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is a non-profit, political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia operating primarily on a grant basis with funds from state and local governments. Piedmont SWCD provides technical and educational assistance for natural resource conservation to land users, farmers, foresters, homeowners, and local governments in Amelia, Nottoway, and Prince Edward Counties. Since 1939, the District has delivered voluntary, locally-led conservation solutions to natural resource concerns.
