Academic Scholarship

Piedmont SWCD now offers three annual $1000 scholarships to rising or current college freshman. These scholarships give financial support to students enrolled in course curriculum related to natural resource conservation and environmental studies. Application materials are sent to local teachers and guidance counselors and are available at the Piedmont SWCD office. The awarded scholarship application is also eligible for the annual VASWCD Education Foundation scholarship awards.
