Erosion & Sediment Control
In an effort to minimize environmental impact of land-disturbing activities, Piedmont SWCD offers Erosion and Sediment Control Plan review and site inspections to Amelia, Nottoway, and Prince Edward Counties and the Towns of Blackstone, Burkeville, Crewe, and Farmville. The E&S Control Program’s goal is to control the soil erosion, sedimentation and runoff of regulated land-disturbing activities to protect Virginia’s natural resources and private property.
